The 19th International Guitar Festival - Wirral - saw friends dropping in, yourself included... for three weeks or so!

I described it as the BestEverGuitarFest - and on the strength of that I’d like to thank everyone who makes this Festival so special; the astonishing players who make this a tremendous musical experience, the audiences who support the Festival, the staff and venue teams, and our sponsors.

I look forward to welcoming you to Wirral for next year’s Festival, November 7th to the 23rd, 2008. And, by the way, we are also supporting Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008, so we’ll be doing things a bit differently for next year, all year. As a warm up starting in Spring we have... Joe Bonamassa, Steve Knightley, An evening with Juan Martin, Wishbone Ash, Jan Akkerman, Robin Trower, Aynsley Lister... see what's on in '08.

Please come back to the site for updates - 2008 will be our 20th Birthday, so we might just bake a cake!!
